James A. "Jimbo" White

June 6, 1951 — October 4, 2016

Our beloved husband, father and brother, James Alfred "Jimbo" White , 65, of Oak Hill, WV gained his Heavenly home on Tuesday, October 04, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Born June 06, 1951 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late John Earl and Vivian June Tygrett White.

Known as "Jimbo" by all, he was a well decorated US Navy veteran having retired in 1992. He was employed at Walmart in Fayetteville where he was a ray of sunshine to all he encountered.

Those left to cherish his memory are his adoring wife of 45 years, Sharon Belcher White - "my loving husband, I will miss you, always love you and cherish all our times together; rest in peace and know I will be with you always and forever," his much loved sons, James Michael White and wife, Kendra of Oak Hill and John Matthew White of Oak Hill; sister, Patty Zemonek of Oak Hill; and brother, Danny Gene White of Staunton, VA.

Also surviving are his two granddaughters, Leslie Snow White and Shelby Nikole White; brothers and sisters- in-law, Debbie and Michael Jarosz, Richard Buckland, Marilyn Hayslette, Linda and Tommy Belcher; aunts and uncles, Betty Sue Mulligan of Fayetteville, Tommy Tygrett of Ripley, Charles and Pansy Gadomski of Oak Hill, Frank White of Oak Hill, Norman White of Oak Hill, Della Colley of Beaumont, TX and Marie Bailey of Ohio; many nieces, nephews, cousins too numerous to count as well as many life-long friends; and daughter adopted by love and friendship - Effie Painter, and grandchildren not by blood but by love, Siera Legg and Corey Bibb.

To say he will be sadly missed by his family and friends is an understatment. Jimbo was taken from us too early - God has truly gotten an angel who will watch over his family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with funeral service to begin at 7:00 PM with Rev. Pete Lokant officiating. In keeping with his wishes, Jimbo will be cremated following the service.
