Jackie Lee Argabright, 85, of Mount Hope, WV passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born January 21, 1936, in Red Star, WV he was the son of the late Oather and Freeda Syner Argabright. Jackie made a career of the US Air Force retiring with the rank of Master Sgt. He was preceded in death by his sister, Stella Johnson. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Mary Ann Argabright; six children; Susan, Sandra, Joey, Jack, Steven, and Jimmy; host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and favorite niece Freeda and her husband Allen Romine. The funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 31, 2021, at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Pastor Sam Vance officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV Visitation for friends will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to service. Pallbearers will be Anthony Perry and his brothers in the Mount Hope Lions Club - Dennis Keffer, David Perry, Kevin Biggs, Kevin Markham, and Darrell Bailey.
