Helen F. Morgan Crafton, 80 of Pax, WV passed away May 29th, 2021, at Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley, WV with her family by her side.
Helen was born October 3, 1940, at Skelton, WV, daughter of Eddie and Mary Magdalene Williams Morgan.
Her husband, Jack Crafton; brothers Sam Morgan, Jack Morgan, and John Morgan; sister, Barbara Morgan; and brother-in-law, Bob Vance preceded her in death.
She is survived by son, Eddie Canterbury and wife, Karen; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and the first great, great grand child to be born this fall; brothers, Robert Morgan and wife, Carol, Kenny Morgan, and Boone and wife, Karen; sisters, Brenda Vance, and Glyda Meredith and husband, Chester; and sisters-in-law, Lulla B. Morgan, Connie Hill and Helen Armour. There are an abundance of nieces, nephews and cousins that cherished their “Aunt” Helen. She is also survived by friend, Steven Stover.
Helen spent a lifetime being one of the finest upholsters and was still working up to the day she went into the hospital. She was also an avid homemaker and gardener. Helen opened her heart and home to many. Some of her favorite hobbies were working jigsaw puzzles and reading. Everyone that ever met Helen loved her.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Pastor Tom Lilly officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Williams Cemetery at the Cripple Fly Ranch.
Those planning to attend should use proper Covid 19 precautions by wearing masks and observing social distancing of 6 feet.
