Gloria Jane Ayers Adkins , 61, of Fayetteville, WV died on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.

Born April 27, 1955, in Beckley, WV the daughter of the late Elbert Lee and Melinda Altice Ayers.

Gloria was employed at Plateau Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith.

Her husband, Roger Dale Adkins, Sr. preceded her in death on March 16, 2002. She was also preceded by siblings, Cora Coffman, Orval Ayers, Charles Ayers, Raymond Ayers, Melinda June Ayers and Violet Evelyn Ayers..

Her memory will be cherished by a loving family which includes sons, Roger Dale Adkins, II, Fayetteville, Tracy Allen Adkins, Robson, David Freeman Adkins, Princeton, NJ; brothers, James Ayers and Harry Ayers; grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Adkins, Roger Dale Adkins, III, Tyler Adkins and Valerie Paige Adkins; step granddaughters, Emily Patrick and Samantha Patrick; great granddaughter, Raylyn Nichole Dunlap; and step great grandson, Braylen Jones.

Funeral services will be on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
