Georgia E. Dummitt Wallace , 95, of Fayetteville, WV died on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her home.
Born December 16, 1922 at Ramsey, WV she was the daughter of the late Albert Lynn and Mary Kesler Dummitt.
Mrs. Wallace was a retired Senior Vice-President for New River Banking & Trust in Oak Hill. She was a longtime member of the Kesler Memorial Presbyterian Church, Hico; and a member of the Women's Bankers Association, Quota Club and the Scarbro Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Richard Wallace, Sr.; sisters, Delphia Dummitt, Mary Ellen Dummitt and Sandy Dummitt; and brothers, Robert Dummitt and Shad Dummitt.
Survivors include son, Eugene Wallace, Jr.; sister, Betty Dummitt; grandchildren, Andrew "Andy" Wallace, Michael Wallace and Steven Wallace; and great grandchildren, Ariel Wallace, Sera Keeney-Wallace and Eddie Keeney-Wallace.
Services will be on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Jim Dempsey officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
