Freddie Lee Crews , 81, of Hilltop, WV died on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born July 26, 1936 at Princeton, WV he was the son of the late Thelma Spicer and Walter Crews.

Freddie worked for the City of Mount Hope in water plant maintenance. He served in the Army National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Glendora Pearl Moss Crews and second wife, Donna Stover Hyden Crews.

Survivors include step granddaughter, Samantha Kessler Crews Adkins; brother, Douglas Crews of DE; caregivers, Dora and Carl Brooks of Ingram Branch; and other family and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Crews donated his body to the human gift registry at the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine.

A memorial service will be on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Terry Damron officiating. When his cremains are returned they will be interred at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
