Frank Ferrell Rider, Sr.

Frank Ferrell Rider, Sr. , 93, of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at his home.
Born August 29, 1927 in Hinton, WV he was the son of the late Grover Cleveland and Dora Gladys Sponaugle Rider.
Frank was a retired coal miner and manager for New River Coal Company.
He is preceded in death by daughter, Shelby Jean White; brothers, Harold G. Rider, Morel Rider, William T. Rider, Sr. and Ray Rider; and sisters, Dorma Maye, Norma Sue, Nellie, and Orma.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Peggy Ann Dugger Rider; son, Frank Rider, Jr. of Providence Forge, VA; daughters, Judy Gail Coleman of Summerlee and Patricia Ann Bias and husband, Fred, of Nitro; sister, Shirley Jean Talbott of Beckley; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside rites and committal will be on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 12:00 pm at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating Burial will follow.
