Eunice "Retta" Oretta Widay Pate , 82, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Bowers Hospice House in , Beckley WV.
Born October 21, 1935, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine Gmiterko Widay.
Retta was a retired Cook for the Fayette County Board of Education.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Pate and daughter, Lorna Jo Pate Kidd.
Retta leaves behind sons, Donald Davidson and his wife, Debbie of Oakdale PA, and Wayne Pate and his wife, Eva of Oak Hill; grandchildren, Michael Davidson, Corey Keffer and Ryan Pate; great grandchildren, Madison and Austin Keffer; and many other loving family and friends.
Services will be on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Ken Souder officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to service on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations of sympathy be made to the Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley WV, 25801.
