Ethel Theodosia Riffe Young , 80, of Fayetteville, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 01, 2017 at Select Specialty-Saint Francis Hospital in Charleston, WV.
Born January 20, 1937 at Jolo, WV she was the daughter of the late William Peter and Bessie Viars Riffe.
Ethel was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who loved Jesus and her family. She enjoyed springtime with all the lovely flowers. Our Mom loved talking about Jesus, listening to songs about Him, and playing her guitar and singing songs of her Lord.
Mother, we know God gave us the best angel in the heavens to be our mother. We want you to know you will be in our hearts and souls forever. Until we meet again in Heaven, Mom we love you - Angie, Pam and Sabrina
Her husband of 49 years, Howard William Young, preceded her in death.
Her precious memory will be cherished by a loving family which includes three wonderful daughters, Angela Williams and husband, John, Pamela Roth, and Sabrina Dalton and husband, Lowery; grandchildren, Robert Morris, James (Angie Gift) Taylor, Barbra Morris, Cinnamon (Bob) Cifani, Dale Hendricks, Joyce Williams, Kyle E. Colon, Landon K, Ellison, Ashley Dalton and Brittany Dalton; great grandchildren, Ava Hendricks, Angelaica Cifani, Luke Cifani, Vince Cifani, Benji Dalton, Issac Tomlin, Spencer Tomlin, Willow Tomlin, Dustyn Buckland and Eric Buckland; and great great grandchild, Grayson Buckland.
Graveside rites and committal services will be on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Huse Memorial Park in Fayetteville. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
