Elizabeth Miller Riser

Elizabeth Miller Riser , 90, of Princeton, WV formerly of Mabscott, WV died on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton.

Born March 16, 1926 at Gary, WV she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Cafego Miller.

During World War II Elizabeth worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" then later was in the catering business. She had also worked at Peterstown Greenhouse and Nursery. She attended SunBridge Pine Lodge Chapel.

Her husband, William Oscar Riser preceded her on June 8, 1983;. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Frank, Joe, George, John, Paul and Mike Miller.

Survivors include brothers, Steve Miller of Peterstown and Tommy Miller of Ohio.

Services will be on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Randy Smithson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

In accordance with her wishes, Elizabeth will be cremated following the service. Her cremains will be interred at High Lawn Memorial Park at a later date.
