Elizabeth "Libby" Jane Smith Byers , 55, of Mount Hope, WV died on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.
Born March 29, 1964 at Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Ronald Samuel Smith, Sr. and Norma Elizabeth Hatfield Smith.
Libby was a graduate of Oak Hill High School. She was a cashier at Walmart for 27 years..
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ronetta Davis and Gequetta Duncan.
Those left to cherish her memory include husband, Herman Byers; daughter, Jennifer Aaron; son-in-law, Danny Renick; nephew/son, Ricky Boyd; niece/daughter-in-law Stephanie Boyd; and Betty Smith; and grandchildren, Destini Renick, Alexys Renick, and Danny Renick, III, and Ricky Boyd Jr., Ryan Boyd, and Riley Boyd; brothers, Ronald "Sammy" Smith, Jr., Darrell Smith, Gene Smith, Bill Smith; sisters, Darlene Pruden, Kathy Mason; and several other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Larry Humphrey officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
