Donna Faye Blevins Hall, 70, of Hilltop, WV passed on April 12, 2019. Donna lived a long and productive life and was constantly on the go, but when it was her time to slow down, then the Lord took her peacefully and quickly in the comfort of her home.
Donna was born June 1, 1948 in Wriston, WV. She graduated from Collins High School in 1967. She married and traveled as an army wife, but then returned to WV as a single mother and devoted her life to being a mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend to others.
Donna's family was her pride and joy. She was well known by her children's friends as Ms. Hall and was proud to be a part of their school activities and sports. As her children grew and then started families of their own, Donna became know as “Grandma” to her precious grandchildren and all of their friends. Grandma was very involved with her grandchildren by babysitting, going on vacations, caring for them while sick, attending school activities, cheering them on in sports, encouraging them, advising them, and making a tremendous amount of memories by just “being there”.
She leave 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory. Her children, Kathy Hall Vaught (Mike Sale) of Hilltop, WV; Karen Hall Underwood (Randy) of Oak Hill, WV; and Jason Hall of Hilltop, WV. Her grandchildren, Ashley Vaught Palmieri (Armando) of Pittsburgh, PA; Jessica Vaught Wriston (Jonathon) of Bradley, WV; Jordan Vaught of Hilltop, WV; Cameron, Natalie, and Maxwell Underwood of Oak Hill, WV; and Jaycee Hall of Hilltop, WV. Her great-grandchildren Rhayna and Rylan Wriston of Bradley, WV.
Following Donna's wishes, her children chose cremation over burial. Memorial service will take place at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill, WV on Monday, April 15, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating towards her funeral fund the night of the memorial.
