Donald Geary Wilson, II , 47, of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.
Born October 23, 1973 in Beckley, WV he was the son of the late Donald G. "Tink" Wilson, I and Sally Ann Hammontree Wilson.
Donald was a proud US Army veteran where he served as a cavalry scout and received recognition as an expert marksman. In addition to working as a chef/line cook for several rafting companies he was a singer/songwriter.
Survivors include brother, Michael "Mikey" (Ronda) Wilson; sisters, Kimberly D. Wilson and Claudia. "Janie" Wilson; nieces and nephews, Chaston Wilson, Ian Rakes, Ava Wilson, Isiah J. Lewis, Owen Christopher Grose, Noah-Jane E. Lewis, and Gabriella Sophia Veoasco; and many other family members and friends
Donald was cremated. A memorial committal service with military honors will be on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill. Burial will follow.
Those planning to attend should use proper COVID 19 precautions by wearing masks and observing social distancing of 6 feet.
