Denver Ray Jarvis, age 67, of Mount Hope, WV, passed away on January 14, 2022. Born December 23, 1955, in Richwood, WV, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Ina Hartley Jarvis. Denver worked as a custodian for the Raleigh County Commission and was a devoted loyal employee. He was an assistant pastor for the Jesus Church in Massyville,WV, in his free time he would study the bible and enjoyed telling people about the word of God. Around Christmas time Denver would always set up his Christmas village, something he looked forward to every year. His memory will be cherished by wife, Rosalie Molly Ray Jarvis; and sisters, Sue Eskew, Karen Griffith, Wanda Hughes, and Sandra Dillard. Keeping with his wishes Denver will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
