David Curtis Lester , 60, of Oak Hill, WV formerly of Beckley, WV died on Friday, October 07, 2016 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born February 06, 1956 at Portsmouth, VA he was the son of Dennis Ray Lester and Suzanne Patricia Curtis Pouliot formerly of Beckley.
David loved very much his music - writing it, singing it and playing his guitars and he loved the Beatles. He cherished his friends in Florida - especially his old band. He also enjoyed cooking.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bonnie Fritts - who he loved very much.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by one daughter, Lynn Ann Torrence of FL; sisters, Mary Tetramale and Julie Ann Manthi of FL; brother, Steven Ernest Lester of FL; aunt, Shirley Willy of Beckley; as well as several nephews, nieces and other family members.
David was cared for by Hospice of Southern WV and a long-time neighbor and friend, Fred Neudek.
David was cremated and his cremains will be with his family. A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in his honor to the charity of one's choice,
