Christopher Ryan Burgess, 32, of Lexington, NC passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at the WFBH Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, NC.
Born December 26, 1987 in Beckley, WV he was the son of Mark David Burgess, Sr. and Tracy Lilly Burgess.
Christopher was a lineman who installed fiber optic cable and loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by brother, Mark Burgess, Jr.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include sons, Gabriel M. Burgess and Bryson E. Burgess; brother, Thomas Burgess; sister, Amanda Burgess; and special nephews, Brayden King and Rylan Burgess.
Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens with burial to follow. Those planning to attend should use proper COVID 19 precautions by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet.
