Charles Earl Shelton

Charles Earl Shelton, age 77, of Oak Hill, went home to be with his Lord on January 24, 2022. Born February 4, 1944, he was the son of the late Charles Earl Shelton, Sr and Mary Matheney Shelton.
Charles was a West Virginia State Trooper protecting our community for 27 ½ years before his retirement, he was also a member of the Fayetteville Baptist Church. Charles loved being around his family and going for walks with his wife, Nancy.
He will be missed dearly by loving wife; Nancy Jane Shelton, sons; Chuck Shelton (Dana) of Oak Hill and Brian Shelton (Pamela) of St. Albans, grandchildren; Brittany Stapleton (Billy), Zachary Shelton, Charles Shelton IIII, Casey Shelton, and Patrick Shelton, and 3 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be on Friday January 28, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with services starting at 1:00 PM at the Fayetteville Baptist Church, with Pastor Jack Eads and Pastor Joe Brown officiating. Entombment to follow at High Lawn Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Fayetteville Baptist Church at 104 Ankrom St, Fayetteville, WV 25840.
