Burl Burton Jr.

Delphia Burl Burton, Jr. age 68, of Oak Hill, WV died on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Select Specialty-St. Francis in Charleston, WV.

Born August 8, 2018 at Kaymoor, WV, he was the son of the late Delphia Burl Burton, Sr. and Kathleen America Kincaid Burton.

Burl was a milkman having last worked last at United Dairy and was a member of the Jones Avenue First Church of God in Oak Hill.

Those who will cherish his memory include wife, Jean Sharon Goff Burton; his son , Master Sgt. (Ret) Thomas Burl Burton and wife, Lucy, of Red House and granddaughter, Brooke Burton. Also surviving are several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Pat Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.

Walter Alexander, Gene Johnson, John Blake, Jared Richards, Ben Wright, Dave Kemlock and Nicholas Roseblock will serve as pallbearers.
