Brian Scott Shrout

Command Sergeant Major Brian Scott Shrout 49 years old of Danielsville, GA- formerly of Mt Hope, WV- passed away on June 6, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Anne Shrout; brother, Terry Lee Shrout; nephew, Ricky Allen; and father Noel Dayton Shrout.

He is survived by his mother, Lillie Mae Shrout; brother, Noel Edward Shrout and wife, Donna; one daughter, Brittany Rice and Shawn along with their children, Isabella & Zayden; stepsons, Billy Jo & Mandy, Daniel, Mathew & Lauren, Joshua & Kayla Buchanan and 10 grandchildren; nephews, Travis & Elijah Shrout, and William “Bubba” Samples; niece, Faith Shrout; adopted mom, Norma Menei and husband, Vincent; and aunt, Jo Lafferty.

Brian’s military service included 28 years in the United States Army and 3 years in the National Guard.  He was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather, soldier, and friend; he is and will forever be very missed.

Visitation for friends will be Monday, June 10, 2019 at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope from 6-8 PM.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Richard Midkiff officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
