Betty Jane Newman Ray, 91, of Canal Winchester, OH, formerly of Oak Hill, WV, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Mount Carmel Hospital East in Columbus, OH.
She was born January 7, 1928 in Charleston, WV, daughter of the late Earl H. and Grace G. Windle Newman.
Betty was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Willard Lee "Bud" Ray; son, Denny Ray; and several brothers, and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Drema Riddle (Steve); two sons, John Ray, and Roger Ray (Dorothy); several beloved grandchildren; great grandchildren; and her remaining brothers and sisters.
Graveside service will be 12:30 pm Thursday, March 7, 2019 at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Pastor Shirlie Watson officiating. Burial will follow.
