Anita Karen Williams Evans

Anita Karen Williams Evans, age 70, of Mount Hope, WV passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.
Born April 6, 1949 in Fayette Co., she was the daughter of Dora I Shupe Williams and the late Shirley E. Williams.
Karen was a homemaker and was employed as a clerk at Pettry's Store in Pax until its closing, She was a member of Packs Branch Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Evans in August of 2018.
Surviving in addition to her mother, Dora, include her siblings, Gary Williams and Dennis Williams and Elaine Wriston and Shirley Dale Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Pastor Sam Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 Noon until the service hour of 1:00 PM.
