Adam Eugene Mathews, 53, of Oak Hill, WV passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at his residence.
He was born in Prince George, MD, on February 25, 1967, son of Claybon and Jerry Mathews of Prince George, MD.
Adam was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a loving father to his children and adored his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers; Jeffrey Mathews and Benjamin Mathews
In addition to his parents, his memory will be cherished by his children, Jillian Rae (Jeffrey) Lilly, and Adam Eugene Mathews Jr.(Rachel); and grandchildren, Anderson and Anslei Lilly.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Gatewood Church of God with Pastor Jackie Pittman officiating.
