Harry Mayo Callaway

March 8, 1928 — April 12, 2009

Harry Mayo Callaway, 81, of Oak Hill, WV went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009 at CAMC - General Division in Charleston, WV. Born March 08, 1928 at Glen Daniel, WV he was the son of the late Ott Mayo and Garnet Pearl Hutchinson Callaway. He was a retied salesman for Betsy Ross. Mr. Callaway was a member of the Oak Hill Alliance Church. A sister, Drema Callaway who died at age 15, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Margaret V. Pack Callaway; four sons, Harry James Callaway and wife, Sarah Jane of Prosperity, John Robert Callaway and wife, Diannah of Prosperity, Randy Eugene Wills and wife, Tonya of Fayetteville and Frank Dale Wills and wife, Sabra of Penrose, CO and three daughters, Alice Jean Gauldin and husband, Leonard of Prosperity, Rebecca Gail Callaway and husband, Dwight Smith of Daniels and Tammy Lea Callaway Garrin and husband, Chris of Cleveland, GA. Also surviving are a brother, Talmadge Callaway and wife, Joan of Eccles; eighteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Services will be on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Albert "Skip" Bowman officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, April 16, 2009 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Grandsons, Jams Scott Callaway, Samuel Travis Callaway, Matthew Callaway Gauldin, John Robert Callaway, Jr., Joshua Callaway and Randy Eugene Wills, II will serve as pallbearers.
