Tammy Lin Gardner Vassil , 52, of Scarbro, WV died on Tuesday, September 05, 2017 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA.
Born July 16, 1965 in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Bobby and Deloris Ward Gardner.
Tammy worked for 20 years as manager at Little General. She was a member of the Pleasant View Church of the Brethren at Gatewood.
Sister, Linda Kincaid and brothers, Ernest Gardner and Bobby Gardner preceded her in death.
Her memory will be forever cherished by a loving family which includes husband, Larry Vassil; son Larry Allen Vassil of Huntington; sister, Doris Gibson of Gatewood; brothers, Wally Gardner of Thayer, Mark Gardner of Scarbro and Bill Gardner of Thayer; and two grandchildren, Hunter Vassil and Heather Vassil.
In keeping with her wishes, Tammy was cremated. A memorial service will be on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Pleasant View Church of the Brethren at Gatewood with Pastor Rick Edwards officiating
