Roy Darrell Payne

Roy Darrell Payne, Jr., 60, of Fayetteville passed away December 28, 2017 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.
Born November 23, 1957 in Oak Hill he was the son of the late Roy Golden Payne, Sr. and Frances Robertson Payne.
Darrell worked as mechanic for DLD for awhile. He attended the Mount Lookout Baptist Church and loved everything about the outdoors especially deer.
Preceding him in death are two sisters; Rosalee Mckinney, and Tammy Adkins.
Those left to cherish his memory include his fiance of four years Brenda Miller, two brothers, Michael Stump, and Danny Payne; five sisters, Pamela Treadway, Vickie Ostean, Angela Dilley, Tammy Hughes and Kitty Sharer; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 1, 2018 at Tyree Funeral Home with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow at the Robertson Light Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home one hour prior to service.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
