Lowell Thomas Darby , 75, of Dry Creek, WV died on Saturday, June 07, 2014 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born November 19, 1938 at Kingston, WV he was the son of the late William and Madeline Wriston Darby. Tom was a 1957 graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill. He was a retired physicist for NASA and US Air Force veteran. Survivors include two brothers, Jack Darby and wife, Bertha of Strongsville, OH and James Darby of Arlington, TX; two sisters, Lynn Ann Conner of Oak Hill and Carolyn Darby Asbury of Dry Creek; four nephews, Logan Asbury, James Darby, Bill Darby and Jamie Darby and two nieces, Jacqueline Darby and Karisa Asbury. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Larry Kinder officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill.
