Imogene Burnette Burford

Imogene Boone Burnette Burford , 91, of Mount Hope, WV died on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born June 04, 1924 at Judson, WV she was the daughter of the late John and Pearl Burdette Boone.

Imogene was a member of the Wesleyan Chapel in Beckley and a homemaker.

Her first husband, Fred Burnette, Sr.; second husband, Richard Burford; and sons, Phillip Wayne Burnette and Fred Burnette, Jr. preceded her in death as did other immediate family members..

Survivors include son, Leslie Burnette of Mount Hope; and daughters, Iris Parsons and husband, Dallas, of Mount Hope and Geneva Bair and husband, Andy, of Ocala, FL.

Also surviving are the third, fourth and fifth generations of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
