Emogene “Jean” Ball Dangerfield, age 91 of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Hilltop Center.
Born March 23, 1926 at Maple Fork, she was the daughter of the late William Joseph and Emily Snell Ball.
Jean was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin U. Dangerfield; son-in-law, John Hall; and as the last surviving member of her immediate family by sister, Willie Mae Treadway; and brothers, Charles, Jimmie, Carlos, Franklin, Harold Leonard, Roy, Troy and Raymond Ball.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Betty Hall, of Fayetteville, and Dottie Vogelsong and husband, Larry of Bryan, OH; sons, Arthur Dangerfield and wife, Ann, and Randy Dean Dangerfield, and companion, Debbie, all of Fayetteville. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Robert Pauley and Pastor Pete Lokant officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 am to service time.
Pallbearers will be Arthur, Eric and Randy Dangerfield, Larry Vogelsong, Chris Laxton and Doug Flint.
