Doris Cumbow Humphrey

Doris Jeanette Cumbow Humphrey, age 90, of Oak Hill passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Mary's Garden at Hidden Valley Health Care. Born February 11, 1928 in Fayette County she was the daughter of the late William and Jesse Lego Cumbow.
Doris was a member of Gentry Baptist Church at Sanger and a former teacher of the Children's Class.
In addition to her husband, Aubrey, she was preceded in death by a son, Roger Humphrey. She was the last surviving member of her brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cheryl Humphrey Bishop and her husband Gene of Craigsville, Yvonne Humphrey Boles and her husband Ivan of Fayetteville, Connie Humphrey Ellison and her husband Stan of Beckley; her son, Kevin Humphrey and his wife Toni of York, SC,; daughter-in-law, Darlene Berry Humphrey of Hilltop; a sister-in-law, Mary Toney Cumbow. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren\ and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with
Pastor Louis Sanson officiating. Burial will follow in Highlawn Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
