Darrell Edwin Richmond Sr.

Darrell Edwin Richmond, Sr., age 80, of Fayetteville, WV formerly of Minden, WV passed away at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV on Saturday, October 7, 2017.
Born November 4, 1936 at Mahan, WV he was the son of the late Russell and Violet Dove Richmond.
Darrell was construction worker and a member of Local Union 453 in Beckley.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Roger, George, David and Billy Ray Richmond; and sisters, Della Treadway, Helen Richmond, Nancy Preston and Mary E. Foraker.
He is survived by daughter, Jenell Rice and her husband, James of Fayetteville, with whom he made his home the past year, and their children,Casey and Courtney Rice; three sons, Darrell E. Richmond, Jr. of Westfiied, Mass., Russell Richmond and Donald Richmond both of Pittsfield, Mass.; two additional daughters, Violet Richmond of Enfiled, Conn and Cynthia Richmond of Otis, Mass.; brother, Jospeh Richmond of Summerlee; and a sister, Rose Treadway of Minden.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Larry Humphrey officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Pea Ridge Road, Oak Hill.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
